Robert “Bob” Wanser – Age 55

Robert “Bob” Wanser Age 55

October 11, 2012

Robert Joseph “Bob” Wanser formerly of Sioux City passed away unexpectedly Oct. 11, 2012, in Luck, Wis.

A native of Sioux City, Bob lived and worked in the Minneapolis area for more than 25 years.

His children, Rory Wanser of North Carolina and Calla Wanser of Portland, Ore., always had the love of their father and will miss him deeply. As the youngest of seven children, Bob loved his big family, with a special place in his heart for his mother, Dorothy Brammer of Panora, Iowa. Walt Brammer, his stepfather since his teens, was a man he respected and loved. He shared many good memories with all his family, but was especially close to his brother, Tim of Sioux City, with whom he shared a lifelong love of motorcycles, family and fun. He was very proud of the friendships in his “lake community,” and their generosity of spirit. He also cherished his lifelong friendship with Gary LaFlure of St. Augustine, Fla. He was very appreciative of the love of his father, B.E. Wanser and his wife of Scottsdale, Ariz., his many nephews and nieces, and his wife of many wonderful years, Robbie Wanser of Minneapolis.

Bob also missed his oldest brother, Michael of Carroll, Iowa, who preceded him in death in November 2011.

We thank Bob for his love of family and his tenacity for life. We will always hold him in our hearts and love him forever.
