Vickie Joann Jensen, 59 of Sioux City, IA – passed away Sunday, June 25, 2017

The Class of 76 must again say goodbye to a friend and a classmate. For those who were close to Vickie and to her family, the Sioux City East High Class of 76 send our love and, we will lift you all up in our prayers, that God would give you the peace and comfort that only He can give!

(August 18, 1958 – June 25, 2017)

Vickie Jensen, 58 of South Sioux City, Nebraska died Sunday, June 25, 2017 at Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa.

Memorial services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, June 28th, at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave. Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 27th from 4-8 pm, with the family present from 6-8 pm and a Prayer Service at 7 pm.

Vickie Joann Jensen was born on August 18, 1958 in Sioux City, the daughter of Bobby and Betty (Cobb) Jensen. She graduated from East High School in 1976.

Vickie worked at Zimco Supply and later for Ben Fish Tire Company, where she retired in September 2016 reluctantly, due to health. She also worked during the years for Covington Links and South Ridge Golf Course.

Vickie enjoyed her trips to Colorado to see her daughter and grandson. Vickie and Mike were avid Nebraska fans.

Vickie is survived by her daughter Ronelle (Greg) Rule of Grand Junction, Colorado; her sisters, Gerri (Monty) Stoltze of Fordland, Missouri and Connie (Larry) Young of Sioux City, her grandson, Breckin Rule, her step mother, Mary Kathleen Jensen of Sioux City and her significant other, Michael Fritz, Sr. of South Sioux City, Nebraska, and her nephews and niece, Bobby and Jeremy Stoltze and Monica Bailey. She was also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins and many close friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
