Nancy R. Renfro – Age 49

Nancy R. Renfro, 49, of Sioux City died Friday, July 27, 2007, at Sanford Health Center in Sioux Falls, S.D., following a long illness.

Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, with the Rev. Curt Moermond officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services Tuesday at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Online condolences may be made at www.meyerbroschapels.com. Nancy was born Aug. 13, 1957, in Sioux City, the daughter of Wayne and Jacquelyn (Spooner) Renfro. She grew up in Sioux City and graduated from East High School. She was together with Benjamin Franklin for 20 years. Nancy enjoyed spending time with her family, listening to music and her dogs.

Survivors include Benjamin Franklin of Sioux City; a son, Benjamin Franklin Jr. of Dakota City; a daughter, Gracina Renfro of Sioux City; her father and stepmother, Wayne and Joann Renfro of Sioux City; two sisters, Robbie Renfro-Overman of Gretna, Neb. and Susie Clinton and her husband, Jim of Valley, Neb.; her stepfather, Ken Kleine of Colorado Springs, Colo.; a stepsister, Kathy Pope of Sergeant Bluff; two grand-daughters; a beloved godson, Steven Anderson; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Jackie Kleine; her grandmother, Rose Renfro; and a niece, Jessica Overman.

Pallbearers will be John Ouellette, Jason Jager, Steven A. Rendon, Roland Ptak, Calvin Turner and Jesse Ford.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Nancy’s name.
